Join us in Canberra for this special access STEM Summer School in January 2026.
Should you accept your mission, you will be transported to elite science locations and guided by several of Australia’s most experienced researchers and educators.
Your $900 payment covers accommodation, breakfast, airport transfers, coach travel between venues, a welcome dinner with guest speaker and 2 lunches – plus all entry fees.
NB Transport to and from Canberra not included.

Can I claim this back on my tax? You sure can, and we will provide you with a receipt to make that easier for you.
Does the cost include my travel to Canberra? No, but accommodation and breakfast, airport transfers, coach travel between venues, a welcome dinner, 2 lunches and all attraction entry fees are covered by the $900 program charge.
How do I pitch this to get approval to attend? Your attendance at this STEM Summer School is for your professional development. It will strengthen your ability to design and implement effective STEM programs at your school, and build connections with science leaders. This program is aligned with the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers; 2.1 Content and teaching strategies of the teaching area and 4.1 to support student participation.

Do I need to be teaching to attend? No, that’s not a requirement to register. This program is also relevant for preservice Teachers and will set you up for success in your first school placement.
