Yarralumla Play Station

The Yarralumla Play Station (YPS) – centrally located right on Lake Burley Griffin and only 5 minutes away from all major attractions in the Parliamentary Zone – is an iconic Canberra business that has been in operation for over 50 years.

Activities

YPS covers almost 1.5 hectares and encompasses a miniature train, mini farm and 2 Canberra-themed miniature golf courses.

We have full-sized historic 100-year-old train carriages, many Australiana items (including a Furphy cart and a huge anti-submarine gun), a lolly shop and a full-service café catering for anything from a cold drink to a full meal.

Learning Programs

With such an array of activities we can provide a program theme to suit everyone, ranging from learning about farm animals (where do eggs come from?) to learning about some of Canberra’s most iconic buildings in miniature form (do you know how many rooms are in Parliament House?).

Fun & Adventure

Would you like a break and are ready to tire the kids out?

Relax with a coffee while the students undertake all the activities with our super popular scavenger hunt (great for promoting teamwork in groups).

Students will play mini golf on our Canberrathemed courses, ride on our miniature train and visit our miniature farm animals, all while working to find answers and solve problems.
