Leumeah Lodge offers modern rooms and impressive facilities in the exciting Gold Creek tourist precinct of Canberra.

We are located within walking distance of the National Dinosaur Museum, Cockington Green Gardens and the Canberra Reptile Zoo, and most other major attractions are only 15 minutes away!

Ours is a great location from which to explore the surrounding rural regions

•Single, twin or triple share hotel-style Supervisor rooms.

•Spacious rooms include linen/towels, ensuites, TVs and reverse-cycle air conditioning.

•Accessible hotel-style rooms available with WiFi and TVs.

•Drivers sleep in hotel-style rooms.

•Groups of 300+ can be accommodated across 4 buildings.

•Bunk rooms to sleep up to 8 Students with3-way ensuites.

•Supervisor, accessible and driver rooms all with tea/coffee facilities.

 

Facilities

•Dining room seats 210 guests.

•2 versatile common areas with AV equipment, accommodating up to 120 people per space.

•Free WiFi for supervisors.

•Free coach parking

 

Catering

Catering packages are made in-house and designed around Nutrition Australia’s healthy eating guidelines.

We offer:

•2 main options for hot dinners.

•Adult meal options and soft beverages for Teachers/Supervisors for dinner service.

•Tailor-made takeaway-style lunches.

•Barista-style coffee at Leumeah Lodge for Teachers/Supervisors.

•Pod-style coffee at Bush Capital Lodge for Teachers/Supervisors.

•Additional catering options available including morning and afternoon tea, hot lunch onsite and supper.

•Catering for special dietary requirements at an added charge.

•Mealtimes allocated to work with itineraries.

 

Security

The Y Canberra Region’s accommodation sites are a secure and safe environment.

Our security provisions include:

•We are accredited by the Australian Childhood Foundation.

•Our team members undertake specialised training in Safeguarding Children and Young People.

•All staff are rigorously screened through National Crime Checks and Working with Vulnerable People registration processes.

•Main entrances, all bedrooms and communal spaces have lockable doors secured by keypad entry, with supervisor access to all student rooms.

•We utilise security cameras, daily security patrols and back‑to‑base fire alarm monitors.

•Additional security can be provided if requested.
