Australian War Memorial
The Australian War Memorial is committed to creating a meaningful commemorative learning experience for your students, in one of the world’s most engaging museums.
The Memorial has embarked on an historic development program which will substantially increase its ability to tell the stories of those who have served and are currently serving.
Despite significant construction activity onsite the Memorial is open for business, offering education programs closely aligned with relevant outcomes in the Australian Curriculum.
The programs draw on personal stories represented by exhibitions in the galleries.
Bookings are essential for all visits and activities, including education programs, school wreathlaying ceremonies, and attendance at the Last Post Ceremony.
There is no self-guiding option available onsite, and availability for some activities may be limited.
