Challenge yourself in Sportex, an educational and engaging sports experience where you can try wheelchair basketball, virtual downhill skiing, rock climbing, football penalty shootouts and more.
You can also combine your time in Sportex with with some fun and active time outside, learning new skills and drills in our Sports Experience Program
Challenge yourself in Sportex
Experience a 60 minute session in our interactive sports exhibit set among a unique collection of Australian sporting memorabilia. Groups enjoy fun and safe interactive displays, learn about the history of Australian sport and be inspired to be active and play sport.
Sportex + Sports Experience
Combine Sportex with some fun and active time outside, learning new skills and drills. Play on the very fields where Australia’s sporting champions train and compete. Students will enjoy 45 minutes in Sportex and will also participate in a 45 minute session learning the rules, skills and drills for up to three different sports.
Make sure you leave time to visit the AIS Shop for great sporting gear and AIS souvenirs or better still pre-order an Active Pack or Click and Collect an online order to skip the queues.
Our catering team can prepare delicious and healthy morning / afternoon tea or lunch packs ready for your collection. Select from a wide range of options available and pay prior to arrival for a hassle free feeding of your group.
Sportex available weekdays at 8.30am, 10am, 11.30am, 1pm, 2.30pm, 4pm, 5.30pm, 7.30pm. Sportex + Sports Experience available at 10 am, 11.30 am, 1 pm and 2.30 pm. Costs apply.
The Good Village is an education program developed and designed to upskill students on health and wellbeing, fitness, nutrition and sustainability. Students are encouraged to build a brand-new village for athletes to train, eat, rest, connect and play in, as they prepare for the next sporting event.
