Special Exhibition

Step into Illuminate: How Science Comes to Light at Questacon for a dazzling experience where you can bend light, dance through sensors to create music, and experiment using lenses to change your appearance

With 13 hands-on exhibits designed to spark creativity, this playful, high-energy experience is perfect for inquisitive minds of all ages.

Open from February to November 2026.

Bookings are essential and admission fees apply for all programs.

All programs include access to the Questacon shop.

Daytime Self-guided gallery experience

This Teacher-led program provides Students access to around 200 exhibits housed across 7 galleries, while Questacon staff facilitate exhibits and answer question

Evening Questacon by Night experience

Join a 2.5 hour exclusive guided tour through the Centre for the ultimate Questacon experience. Questacon staff fully facilitate this program, providing STEM communication throughout the Centre.

Dinners at Questacon

Atomic Catering offers a wide range of delicious, nutritious and fresh meal options catering to all dietary requirements, along with a comfortable dining experience for school groups
