Questacon -The National Science and Technology Centre

Questacon, located in the National Triangle, offers unique hands-on experiences and activities in themed galleries, connecting Students to STEM.

At Questacon we spark Students’ discovery and curiosity in STEM as they are immersed in hands-on exploration and learning.

Journey through galleries to understand Earth’s power and beauty, experience a simulated earthquake, and watch caged lightning in the Awesome Earth exhibition.

The Q Lab gallery inspires Students to ask questions and discover answers with their peers.

No excursion to Questacon is complete until you experience the exhilaration of falling down our famous 2-storey Free Fall slide in the Excite@Q gallery.

Bookings are essential and admission fees apply for all programs.

All programs include access to the Questacon shop.

Daytime

Self-guided gallery experience

This Teacher-led program provides Students access to around 200 exhibits housed in our 8 galleries, while Questacon staff facilitate exhibits and answer questions.

Evening - Questacon by Night experience

Join a 2.5 hour exclusive guided tour through the Centre for the ultimate Questacon experience.

Questacon staff fully facilitate this program, providing STEM communication throughout the Centre – see page 49 for more.
