National Capital Teacher's Pass


This pass provides teachers free access to participating National Capital Attractions whilst visiting Canberra giving time to explore the opportunities available for planning a school excursion to Canberra.

*Passes are currently not being processed.  This will resume at the end of June.

The National Capital Teacher Pass is available to REGISTERED AND WORKING Australian PRIMARY and SECONDARY School Teachers 

Required proof of Registration for each State

NSW - NESA (NSW Education Standards Authority)

ACT - TQI (ACT Teacher Quality Institute)

VIC -  VIT (Victoria Institute of Teaching) 

QLD - QCT (Queensland College of Teachers)

TAS - Teachers Registration Board (TRB of TAS)

SA - Teacher Registration Board (TRBSA)

WA - Teacher Registration Board of WA (TRBWA)

NT - Teacher Registration Board of NT (TRBNT)

Homeschools - student identification number or copy of certificate


The current National Capital Teachers Pass is valid until 31 January 2021. Below is a link to the current offers. We encourage you to keep checking this website for updates on the offers before your visit, as attractions have the discretion to change their offers at any time.

Homeschoolers -  One pass per household. Please also note that this pass is not to be used on an excursion or travelling in large groups of card holders.  Attractions are not obligated to honour their offer if they feel the pass is being abused in this way.

Please allow two weeks for your pass to be processed.
