National Art Education Conference
Calling teachers from across Australia interested in visual art to the National Gallery of Australia for the fourth National Visual Art Education Conference from 21–23 January 2019.
Inspired by our major Summer exhibition Love and Desire: Pre-Raphaelite Masterpieces from the Tate, the conference in 2019 is all about what is at the heart of art education.
Keynote speakers include Sandra Jackson-Dumont, Chairman of Education at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and John Armstrong, Philosopher-in-chief of The School of Life and co-author of Art as Therapy.
The program also includes artist-led workshops, presentations by teachers, exhibition viewings and
a social program.
