Camp Cottermouth

Camp Cottermouth is the place to stay for a unique school camp experience. Set in a peaceful bush setting presenting spectacular views, our guests often wake to birdsong and grazing kangaroos.

Camp Cottermouth is located only 15 minutes from Australian Parliament House and 20 – 25 minutes from major attractions including the Australian War Memorial and Questacon!

We also offer onsite activities including frisbee golf, campfires (season permitting), and damper making.

Accommodation

• Lodge-style accommodation for up to 113 persons in bunk beds.

• 8 ensuite cabins sleeping 11 or 12 per cabin. 2 cabins are wheelchair accessible.

• 4 ensuite cabins sleeping 3 per cabin. These cabins also include 2 desks and a wardrobe.

• 2 single ensuite cabins with full linen supplied, TV, tea/coffee making facilities and a small fridge. (If travelling with a Driver a single cabin is reserved for them).

• Each guest is provided with a pillow with pillowcase, sheet and bath towel. BYO sleeping bag.

• Campground accommodating up to 1000 students (BYO camping gear – Some camping gear is available for hire).

Catering

• 2 course dinner served in our dining room.

• Continental breakfast with optional hot breakfast.

• Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea are provided for daily excursions.

• Special dietary requirements are catered for.

Facilities

• Coaches park at the front door.

• All shared facilities are wheelchair accessible.

• Additional break out areas are available for hire. Security
