Camp Cottermouth

Wake up to the sound of birds and the sight of kangaroos grazing around your cabins. There are spectacular views and hectares of rolling campgrounds. Camp Cottermouth is located 15 minutes from Parliament House and 20–25 minutes drive from other major attractions including the War Memorial and Questacon.

We accommodate up to 98 children in eight ensuite cabins. Two cabins and all shared facilities are fully wheelchair accessible. We offer four smaller leader ensuite cabins sleeping up to 12 people. Separate ensuite single cabins are available for coach and bus drivers.

If camping is your preference, we have facilities we can offer you. We have designated camp grounds available for schools and can accommodate up to 1000 students (BYO camping gear). There are several permanent shelters with a steel roof, training rooms, a cookout area and toilet/shower facilities.

We offer full catering, providing your school with a daily hot breakfast and dinner with morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea provided for your daily excursions. Special dietary requirements are catered for.

We also offer the option to self-cater using our fully equipped commercial kitchen.

Most schools staying with us have sole use of Camp Cottermouth, with coaches able to park at the front door. Your students can relax and unwind in a safe environment away from the general public, in a peaceful bush setting.

For a unique school camp experience, Camp Cottermouth is the place to stay.
