National Portrait Gallery

The National Portrait Gallery is a cultural institution where students discover remarkable Australians who inspire, thrill and delight.

 

On the face of it

Come and experience our Student-centred and interactive educational programs, led by experienced Learning Facilitators.

All our programs are cross-curricular.

We offer sessions in Visual Art, History, Civics and Citizenship, and Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Activism.

We also facilitate Visual Thinking Strategies, acritical thinking and visual literacy program for all levels of education
